The client reported a constant leak from their 4-5 year-old electric water heater located in the basement. Upon inspection, no active leak was found at the time of arrival, and the water heater itself showed no signs of damage. The issue was traced to a failed pressure reducing valve (PRV), causing the temperature and pressure (T&P) valve to release water into the drip pan.
