The client reported that the heat pump was not maintaining the temperature set on the thermostat. Our technician found that the thermostat had been set to "fan on." After switching it to "cool," the system started normally. Both compressor and fan amp readings were within normal ranges, and the system had a 16-degree delta T, indicating proper operation.
