Job Description:

The client requested a comprehensive electrical inspection of their home to ensure safety and functionality. Upon arrival, our technician began by inspecting the equipment grounding system, conductor insulation, and breaker panel enclosure, ensuring all components were clean and lubricated. Additionally, all breakers, smoke alarms, GFCI outlets, and electrical switches were tested to confirm proper operation. Our technician also checked outlets for any loose connections and tested them for voltage, inspected electrical connections on appliances, and looked for any code violations. During the inspection, it was quickly evident that the plugs and switches were original to the house and needed replacement. Many cover plates were missing, and the plugs and switches were loose, posing a risk of overheating. In the basement, the subpanel contained two obsolete breakers that required replacement. Furthermore, the main panel had numerous loose connections. As breakers age and connections loosen, they can fail to supply the necessary voltage, potentially causing significant damage to appliances and home wiring. We provided the client with a detailed report of our findings and recommended immediate replacement of the outdated and faulty components to ensure the safety and efficiency of their electrical system.
